defy:v. resist or confront with resistance 公然反抗

thrive: v. to grow stronger  繁荣

rebel: n. 反叛者,反抗权威者

sympathizer:n. commiserates with someone who has had misfortune 同情者

enlighten: v. to make understand 启发,教导

plot overview: ph. 剧情概述

crag: n. a steep rugged rock or cliff 峭壁

fetter: n. a shackle for the ankles or feet 束缚,脚镣(常复数)

adamantine: adj. consisting of or having the hardness of adamant 非常坚硬的
