In Plato’s Republic, those poor prisoners were tightly chained in the cave from their childhood, and one of them was released, dragged out of the cave, gradually enlightened, and finally became a philosopher. But the enlightened philosopher must take his responsibility and go down to the dark cave to save other fellow prisoners.
If you were this philosopher, what would you do to save others without putting your life into danger? What if no one was ever released? What if nobody ever came? Can the prisoners save themselves?
