Aggregate Payment Induced by Diversified Scenarios: the Application Prospects of Face-scanning Payment + QR payment + identity recognition
With the skyrocket of the national economy, cash devices have also been updated according to different scenarios. QR codes originally are used to make payment. With time going by, the handheld scan terminal is applied to collect the payment, accompanied with voice prompts, so that shop owners can know the payment status in time when they are busy.
It can be seen that different cash devices will be introduced in accordance with the changes and diversities of application scenarios. In the traditional scenarios of retail and catering, smart cash devices mainly aim at speeding up the efficiency of cash register and conducting statistical analysis on data of customers, sales, dishes and commodities. Compared with traditional manual bookkeeping, smart cash devices can offer payment services by cash, card, QR code and even face-scanning, which undoubtedly speeds up the efficiency of cash register. In particular, mobile payment methods, including QR code payment and face-scanning payment, eliminate the trouble of making change and verifying the authenticity of banknotes and simplify the procedure in cash register. Cash devices aggregating payments by card, QR code and face-scanning can not only save shop owners the cost of configuring multiple cash devices but also shorten the time for queuing to checkout. According to statistics, the transaction amount using aggregate payment in the scenarios of retail and catering accounted for more than 80% in 2019.
However, in the wake of the diversification and deepening of application scenarios, there are more application scenarios for aggregate payment. For example, some cash devices of aggregate payment have a function in identity verification at present. Equipped with the function of facial recognition, cash devices of aggregate payment can enable people to use them in tourist hotels, business handling, traffic security and other scenarios.
Aggregate payment devices once were designed with simple functions. However, diversified and integrated functions are currently extended to meet the individual needs of users. Furthermore, aggregate payment will have richer application scenarios and broader development space in the future.
