This online course aims to help you understand the etiology, pathogenesis, pathological changes, manifestation, progress and outcomes of diseases. We cover major aspects and topics of general pathology. We will provide the theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of some common diseases.

刘淑慧，医学博士，病理学副教授，硕士研究生导师。现为汕头大学医学院病理教研室副主任、消化营养模块课程负责人。英国牛津大学Weatherall分子医学研究所访问学者。主持国家级、省级科研和教学项目，第一作者/通讯作者发表科研、教学论文多篇，参编病理学教材1部。广东省一流课程《病理学》第二负责人。
林润华，男，医学博士，病理学讲师，硕士生导师，法医病理鉴定人，中国医学装备人工智能联盟病理委员会委员。主要从事病理教学、科研和法医病理鉴定工作。参与本科生、“5+3”一体化和硕士研究生的病理学专业课教学工作。作为分册主编编写《疾病机制模块、消化与营养模块和机体平衡模块PBL案例》。科研方面主要从事家族性食管癌的遗传易感性研究及贲门肠上皮化生的分子机制研究。作为项目项目负责人主持广东省教育厅科研项目1项，以第一作者或通讯作者发表SCI论文2篇。
副教授，博士，全英授课资格教师。2004-2006年期间曾先后赴复旦大学和中科院北京基因组研究所进行食管癌遗传背景的合作研究。2017加拿大University of British Columbia皮肤病研究中心访学一年。目前主要从事病理学教学。
张国红，医学博士，病理学副教授，法医病理鉴定人，硕士研究生导师。现任病理学教研室副主任。University of British Columbia (UBC)博士后；北京大学--国家皮肤与免疫疾病临床医学研究中心高级访问学者。主要的研究方向：皮肤与自身免疫性疾病的遗传易感分子基础研究。作为项目负责人，先后主持国家自然科学基金2项，广东省自然科学基金2项，广东省高等学校优秀青年教师基金1项。以第一或通讯作者，先后在J Clin Oncol, Annals of the Rheumatic diseases, J Invest Dermatol等杂志发表SCI论文。
