博士生导师,清华大学道德与宗教研究院副院长,国家社科基金评审专家,中国宗教学会副会长。主要研究领域:希腊罗马哲学、教父哲学、中西文化交流、基督教文化研究、伦理学史。已出版和发表著译《希腊宗教概论》、《基督教与帝国文化》、《神秘与理性的交融》、《罗马帝国文化转型论》、《教父学研究》、《传统道德向现代道德的转型》、《希腊哲学简史》、《跨文化视野下的希腊形上学反思》、《柏拉图全集》、《西塞罗全集》、《上帝之城》等30余种,论文200余篇。在研北京市社科基金重大项目“古希腊罗马伦理思想史”(14ZDA14)、国家社科基金重点项目“斐洛全集的翻译与综合研究”(14AZX010)。
