Today we are going to learn about engineering project target control.
Today, let's learn its three contents together:
the first one we're going to learn is basic concept,
the second one is the process of target control,
and the third one is the target coordination of engineering project.
First of all, let's start with the basic concept.
There are mainly three aspects of target control in an engineering project:
the first is investment target,
the second is schedule target,
and the third is quality target
The form of investment target with regard to engineering construction project
generally manifested in the investment, use, and output of funds.
The form of the second schedule target performance in the light of engineering project.

For example, in order to obtain the early investment income of the engineering project,
we can speed up work progress to achieve it.
At the same time, there is a unified relationship between schedule target and quality target.
It shows that if we strictly control the quality, we can speed up the construction of the project.
The third is the mutual relationship between investment and quality.
Through strict quality control, we can improve investment efficiency,
which can be expressed in the unified relationship among three targets.
Meanwhile, these three targets are also contradictory.
When the project schedule is speeded up,
the investment will be possibly increased.
That is to say, if our project is moving fast, we need to invest more.
The second is relationship between investment and quality.
As project schedule is stepped up, it is possible to control the quality loosely.
The above shows their mutually contradictory relationships.
The third is the relationship between investment and benefit.
Increasing investment can improve the quality,
and the more money is spent, the higher the quality will be.
This is reflected in the three targets of investment, schedule, and quality.
That is to say, there is a mutual unified and contradictory relationship,
which is a relationship that is both opposite and unified among three targets.
In the field of target control in engineering project
let us illustrate with examples.
In every engineering construction project, there is target control,
such as Three Gorges Project of Yangtze River. Let me show you this case,
The Three Gorges Project is a
giant water conservancy project with comprehensive benefits such as flood control, power generation and shipping.
He can use our rich water resources in the Yangtze River
to obtain huge electricity
and can also alleviate flood disasters in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
At the same time, it can also improve our river channel
and contribute to the development of China's west region.
Well, this world-renowned Three Gorges Project
mainly includes three projects in the Yangtze River.
The first project is to build a barrage dam
which is a concrete gravity dam, with the height of 181 meters.
The second project is a hydropower station with a total of 26 installed power plants.
The third project is the construction of navigable buildings.
The above are the three important components of the entire Yangtze Three Gorges Project.
What are the goals of the Three Gorges
According to the management goals of the Three Gorges Project on the Yangtze River
the big investment goal is 90.09 billion yuan
the construction period target is 17 years
and the quality target is first-class.

In the investment target, it is divided into three parts:

It takes six years to build a barrage dam.

The last item is reflected in the quality targets.
The quality goal is mainly dam quality.
Our requirement is to ensure the quality of good navigable buildings
and also the quality of hydropower stations.
