A male of 52. The patient has the history of hypertension, and always suffered from headache, vertigo and numbness of limbs. Fifteen days ago, the patient suddenly felt weakness of the left limbs and deviation of the mouth as well as aphasia. The diagnosis was Cerebral Infarction. Being treated with Chinese and Western medicine, the patient improved to some extent. Then the patient came specially to receive the acumox therapy. Manifestation: numbness and paralysis of the left limbs, aphasia, accompanied by irascibility, insomnia, dream-disturbed sleep, dizziness and vertigo, red tongue with yellow coating as well as stringy pulse.


Describe the TCM diagnosis, differentiation, rules of treatment, acupuncture prescription (main points, additional points) and explanation.
