哲学是一种精神文化
与宗教同处于民族文化的核心层面
希腊哲学一旦发育成形
它就越过民族文化的藩篱
在地中海世界传播开来以后
希腊哲学的地方性特征
就处在一个消逝的过程中
拉丁文化
是希腊哲学向外传播的第一站
整个地中海世界
是希腊哲学向外传播的第二站
阿拉伯世界
是希腊哲学向外传播的第三站
进入全球化时代以后
希腊哲学继续向全世界各个地区传播
希腊哲学 在其向其它民族
其它地域传播的过程中
虽然失去了原有的地方性
甚至失去了它的民族性
乃至于最终将会失去它的希腊的名字
但是它的基本精神
已经化为 更新之中的其它文化的基因
我们可以说 希腊哲学的特征
是地方性与世界性的统一
希腊哲学地方性的特征的消逝
正是其世界性特征增强的同一过程
我们看到希腊哲学的基本精神
可以跨文化传播
也可以跨文化穿越
以中国文化为例
早在明末清初的时候
早在西学东渐的时候
希腊哲学就已经开始传入了中国
时至今日中国学者们坚信
希腊哲学是人类智慧的伟大宝库
整个西方文化发展的基因
就包含在希腊哲学之中
如果我们对希腊哲学加以认真的研究
对希腊的哲学经典做一种现代的诠释
那么 这样的工作
对于中国社会的现代转型
和中华文化的更新
都是极为有意的
我们中华民族拥有悠久的历史
和丰富的文化 为世人所称道
中华文化与古希腊文化一样
是一种在世界文明发展的轴心时代
诞生的原创性的文化
以古希腊哲学为代表的希腊传统文化
在历史上终结了
融入到其它文化中去了
而以先秦思想
为精神代表的中国传统文化
在整个封建社会时期一直延续
然而 这一状况并不意味着
在一个全球化的新时代
中国学者只需要追溯中华文化传统
而不需要接触外来的精神文化
而只是意味着 中国学者
在现代条件下研究古希腊哲学
需要具备全球文明对话的跨文化的视野
中国现代哲学的发展告诉我们
自西学东渐以来
许多中国的哲学家
在传播西方哲学的同时
融汇中西哲学
创建了自己的哲学体系
也使中国哲学走向了世界
20世纪的中国哲学家前辈们
在引进西方哲学的基础上
创建出了
富有中国特色的哲学思想体系
马克思有一句名言
世界的哲学化
同时也就是哲学的世界化
哲学是全人类的共同财富
希腊哲学世界化了
其它民族的哲学
也要沿着世界化的道路前进
在此意义上 希腊哲学的世界化历程
