今天我们来谈谈红包
关于红包的传说自宋朝就开始了
当时的一个村庄为恶魔所害
无人敢去挑战
即使当时最伟大的战土或者政客也束手无策
然而一个年轻的孤儿
却手提祖先传下的马刀只身挑战
并最终血刃恶魔
村民们狂欢庆祝
老年人为英勇的年轻人
送上了一只封有金钱的红包
用来感谢他勇敢的义行
自从那时开始
红包就成了中国传统习俗的一部分
红包中的钱数一般是双数结尾
比方说
88或者168都是比较吉利的数字
传统上一般只有在葬礼上才送单数的金额
红包的金额一般要足以支付来宾的开销
同时也能够代表对新人的诚挚祝福
送红包的习俗虽然已经延续几百年了
但它至今依旧风行不衰
民俗学家指出
传统上中国人送礼
还是以送礼物为主而不是礼金为主
例如 小孩满月
亲友就送个金锁片
探病 带些补品
初见 褪下手上的戒指
身上的佩玉相赠 作为见面礼
红包现在主要在
社交场合或者家庭聚会中出现
例如婚礼或过年的时候
红色的信封代表着吉祥如意 驱魔辟邪
至于用钱代替礼物源于何时 现巨无法考证
唯一确定的是 传统以来一直以钱来致意
或许也是将实用与心意
物质与精神双重用途
连在一起的开创者
是流传至今的压岁钱(过新年时给小孩子的钱)
以前压岁钱是在银元上贴块红纸
或者用红线把钱串起来
吃年夜饭时
先压随进在火炉下
代表“火旺 钱旺”
饭后才拿出来发放给小辈
意思是经过“火”的洗礼以后
期望它能避邪解厄
让孩子拿来压住过去
健康长大
直到纸币流通
压岁钱才改成红纸袋装纸钞的形式
但为什么用红纸或早期用红线
而不用白 绿或是黑色 则源于宗教礼仪
传统习俗上 在庆祝小孩满月的时候
往往也要给小孩的父母包上一个红包
作为回赠 小孩的父母也会以红蛋作为回礼
在参加生日筵席的时候也常常会送红包
但老年人做寿的时候(比方说七十大寿)
却往往会给子孙们也包上一些红包
以前的红包是单纯的红纸袋儿
上面不印任何字
现在许多单位如餐厅 饭店
都会在红包上印刷和自己相关的吉祥话
在年节时送一叠红包当作给客户的小礼物
也饶富人情趣味
