今天我们谈谈生日习俗
传统上说
中国人在60岁以前不太注重生日
60岁生日
被认为是人生的一个非常重要的时刻
因此经常有一个盛大的庆祝活动
此后 每十年举行一次生日庆祝活动
即70 80岁等 直到去世为止
一般来说 年纪越大 庆祝的活动也越隆重
中国传统的年龄计算方法与西方不同
在中国 人们把农历新年的第一天
作为新的一岁的起点
无论哪个月份出生的孩子
他都是一岁
只要进入新年 他的年龄就会再增加一岁
所以西方人可能会困惑
一个孩子实际上
只有两天或两个小时大的时候就两岁
如果孩子是在去年的最后一天
或最后一个小时出生的 这就是可能的
成年的儿女常常庆祝他们的长辈的生日
以表示对他们的尊敬
并对父母为孩子所做的一切表示感谢
根据传统习俗
父母可以吃到象征意义的食物
在生日当天的早晨 父母要吃一碗长寿面
在中国 面条象征着长寿
鸡蛋也是在特殊场合食用的最佳食物之一
为了使这一盛事更隆重
邀请其他亲友参加庆祝
在中国文化中
60年是一个生命周期
61年是一个新的生命周期的开始
当一个人60岁的时候
他将有一个三代同堂的大家庭
这是一个值得骄傲的年龄
这就是为什么老年人60岁就开始庆祝生日
不管庆祝活动的规模有多大
桃子和面条都是长寿的标志
但有趣的是 桃子并不是真的
它们实际上是蒸过的面食 里面有甜的东西
之所以叫桃子 是因为它们是桃子的形状
当面条煮熟时 不应该把它们剪短
因为缩短的面条可能有一个坏的暗示
参加庆典的每个人都吃这两种食物
向这位寿星致以最美好的祝愿
典型的生日礼物通常是两到四个鸡蛋
长寿面 寿桃 补品 酒以及用红纸包的钱
