Hello,everyone
I'm Jane Tong from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences
of China Medical University
This class I introduce to you today
is my original online micro-class
called "Music Makes One Healthy"
"Music Makes One Healthy"
based on music therapy
let us know how to use music to
a state of physical and mental health
Okay, everyone
Now let's start
the first lecture of this series
"Feeling the Music of Your Body"
We know that
music can affect our emotions
and improve or change our perception
It is common, all of us know
Music directly affects our emotions
We hear sad music, we cry
We hear pleasant music and dance
But what we don't know is
music first affects us
First, it comes into our body and
affects our physiological indicators
We have many emotional responses
even abundant imagination
Today is about a series of effects
of music on physiological indicators
Sure, it may be beyond the scope
but try to feel and understand it
Let me lead you to a new
but a colorful music world
First, listen to a voice
What is this sound
This is our real heartbeat, not virtual
What we usually hear is virtual
this is the real heartbeat
Everyone feel it carefully
in your own chest
When you hear our own heartbeat
how do we feel
Do you think it's a sound and
what is it
If your heartbeat is a piece of music
what is it
Rub-a-dub
Yes, some students are right
This is the rhythm
In music theory, it is called rhythm or beat
Actually, in our body
there are many rhythms like this
It is both stable and regular
Such as our pulse
our breath
Is it a very rhythmic rhythm
It is said that our human body
is like a symphony orchestra
It has various programs and functions
but they live in harmony and
play harmonious songs in our body
At this moment, i will lead everyone
to go into the world of our body
When hear a beautiful piece of music
Any changes of physiological index
I divided it specifically
Lowered blood pressure, keep steady
Our breath begins to slowly follow music
Slow down.
Heartbeat, it may be rub-a-dub
you adjust it slowly,rub-a-dub
Even in many prenatal education
We all know prenatal education
Music is on mothers' pulses and fetuses
You can imagine the rhythm
Temperature becomes comfortably warm
Blood vessels begins to expand
do not get so tight so nervous
Muscle potential and skin resistance reduce
What is the concept of this
How can our skin resistance increase
We often hear such a saying
Oops, it scared me a lot out of
cold sweat, scared my hair to stand up
What do you mean
There is some water on your skin.
It's a kind of liquid
What happens if there is water
Skin resistance will rise
When our muscle potential and
skin resistance decrease, it is the
most comfortable state of skin texture
Many indicators constantly change
A thing has some magical effect
Adrenaline and noradrenaline reduce
Adrenaline is legendary, right
The substance is very strange
When we respond to stress
When we meet powerful stimulus
Adrenaline soars
What it means
We will do something unusual
Impulse is like the devil
It's very interesting
Next, the increase of endorphins
What is endorphin, anyone knows
No one knows the legendary material
It is our pituitary gland
Secrete hormone-like substance
The substance is amazing
It is also called Happiness
When we are happy
when beautiful music fills our bodies
Its content has increased
Like current flooding our bodies
Make us unusually happy and comfortable
Especially in the context of music
or when we exercise,
Athletes exercise all year around
One day you told him
You can't exercise, stay at home
He is not comfortable
Why
为什么
His endorphin cannot activate
People in love, endorphin is very high
Because he always
misses someone
So his emotion,the sweetness
makes his endorphins rise
the concentration will be very high
I don't know the substance
I studied it and it's called serotonin
What is serotonin
It is a hormone substance
Serotonin, among antidepressants
is a very important ingredient
Imagine when listening to music
Our substance has risen
It certainly lifts your spirits
and fights depression
It drives our emotions
Immunoglobulin A in body fluids
Such a substance increases
The Immunoglobulin A is the
first barrier of our immune system
that can resist intrusion outside
Listening to music can prevent colds
there is such a saying
Actually, I told you just now
the serial changes of indicators
all represent a status
In our body, the operation is very
healthy and harmonious
There is such a saying
If the indicators are very stable
in harmony with each other
Our body maintains homeostasis
Such a status, homeostasis
Homeostasis is like a car and
travels at economic speed on the road
keeps going endlessly
Its tamina is very strong
The unknown world of our own bodies
Push it forward with music
promote it with music
Actually it's very very effective
and a wonderful thing
So what kind of music
I just mentioned, it moves our
physiological indicators forward
First, feel the atmosphere of music
It sounds water running
Place yourself into a
such a beautiful and
picturesque scenery
Then let's talk about music
In music
Some parts make your body comfortable
we firstly mentioned the rhythm
Usually, the rhythm of four or three beats
It is the most soothing part in music
The rhythm is slow
It allows us to follow its rhythm
Walk slowly, look slowly, feel it slowly
Moreover, the beautiful melody is
like "Moon River"
It leaves you in a
very beautiful and bright night
Bright moonlight shines on my body
Melody put us in a certain place
We hardly imagine such a beautiful scene
Melody is the soul of music
We just grab it
our heart will be taken away
Emotion is the most touching part of music
A part that resonates
When we humans create music
it aims to put it into our emotions
and then express it
Things can't describe in words
It might be expressed in music
It's quite enough
So music with abundant emotions
maks us embrace emotions
Then the theme
is the steering wheel of a piece of music
Only the theme is positive
we will follow this theme and
continue to go farther and higher
to arrive at a better and happy place
The beautiful melody just now
makes our body
reach a very comfortable homeostasis
OK, I am a bad guy
Listen to this piece of music
This is a very famous noisy music
called "Wild Bee Flying"
It has many versions
This is a version of symphony
When we hear a loud music
we will first have a stress response
Do you feel a sense of crunch
Suddenly feels uncomfortable
This is actually a beginning
of emotional tension and anxiety
When we are anxious and nervous
what do we look like
If you have a job or task at hand
You think, this thing
makes me feel overwhelmed
You have some stress reactions
Especially some physiological symptoms
I took some exams when I was little
Before competition
I always have such physiological symptoms
as stomachaches
There are kinds of disease in music therapy
It is called physical and mental diseases
The stomachache I just said
stomach ulcers
if it develops very seriously
Others like headache, migraine
One of the major illnesses is migraine
The more common is
skin disease.
Urticaria Lupus erythematosus
Even many skin diseases like eczema
it is relevant to emotions
So, under tension and anxiety
Our body actually makes first response
A series of other daily work and study
is greatly affected
Thinking stagnate slowly
Because of this melody
You follow it or it makes you move
This is actually a terrible thing
At this time, your emotions and thinking
are all taken away
The efficiency of work and study reduce
leading to a bad mood
There is a bad state and bad temper
Become an unwelcomed person
This is actually a bad thing
People like heavy metal rock music
Especially some boys
Their temper is not very good
They aren't easy to get along with
So sometimes we say
don't listen too much to noisy music
Even it is said to be destructive
There is a kind of music online
I'm not sure if you heard
That is death music
Have you ever heard Black Day
After listening, many people
choose to end their own life
Why
为什么
The music is push for him
Moreover, like
the last straw crushes the camel
There is a problem existing
So this thing pushes him
he jumped from the tall building
It would be like this
Immediately your mood is better again
Just like our current weather
Although it is not midsummer
the breath of summer
starts slowly telling us
how to choose the one suits you best
Let your body
constantly enters a state of homeostasis
Let me tell you something
First is the rhythm
it is not necessarily the same as just now
A very long rhythm like "moon river"
It can be your inner rhythm
Do you believe it
Everyone has their own tempo
As we often say
You just follow your own pace
It's actually a rhythm in your heart
You only know your inner rhythm
When you hear certain types of music
You think this is my style
This is my own feeling
So music fits your inner state now
The best rhythm to adjust yourself
Like now, my mood is like this
So I choose this summer
Second, the melody must be strong
No one can remember this melody
Right? A very strong melody
To me
Probably its biggest effect is
the simplicity
The melody is certainly active and
fills my heart with sun
Its melody is lingering in my heart
This is actually very wonderful
Sometimes my feelings
After you listen to a melody
You feel nothing in that moment
Such strange things happen to me
I was in a dream all night
and haunted by this melody
I'm not sure if you feel this way
This is my true feeling
When get up in the morning
the imagination is still there
This is the magic of music
Third, strong elements trigger your imagination
Which of musical elements trigger
Esp catching you into a landscape
Natural sound
"Moon River" I played before
It has bugs and birds singing
The sound of gurgling streams
Put you in a beautiful scene
In front of you
a Magnificent picture unfold
The last one is the theme and lyrics
I also said the theme of a song
A musical theme is the
emotional steering wheel of a work
Your emotions follow its content
We grow in a different environment
But in a certain stage of growth
there must be a song
someone who will be with you
Music, like an old friend, accompanies
you to experience and grow together
Especially some lyrics
reflect your emotions during this period
Your life or studying
Like Gaokao in these days
You just entered such an environment
don't want to go back
If you recall today and stand on the stage you walked on
Is there any music in your memory
accompanies you to grow and experience
People might be grateful for years for friends
Thanks for people they met
Sometimes we should thank music
Only it can take us to slowly walk the path of growth
When hear a beautiful piece of music
Physiological indicators will change
This is true It won't lie
To be happy is a medicine happy first
We use music to heal ourselves
and then treat us with medical methods
So here I also wish everyone a healthy life with music forever
Thanks.
