正如我们提到过的,作者对极限运动的观点是“没有经历过风险,

人们也许永远不知道自己的极限,因此也许永远不知道作为一名生命个体的意义……

只有通过冒险才能实现伟大。

我们可以这样理解这一主题.

毕淑敏曾在《恰到好处的幸福》中说到,

“大自然的伟力, 在城市里的人,不大容易体会得到。

你到空旷的山野和广袤的沙漠中,你置身于晴朗的夜空之下,

你在雪山顶端和海洋中时,比较容易找到人类应该待着的位置。”

然而,只有当我们接近极限边缘,

当危险和恐惧交集而来让我们感到被逼至极点时,

我们才能站在山巅,了解自己的极限,明白我们是谁,清楚我们应该达到怎样的境界。

同样,海伦•凯勒说过,“生命或是一场大胆的冒险,或是一无是处”。这句话与课文A的结尾句:

“只有通过冒险才能实现伟大”以及第五段的最后一句

“我们被赋予了体验或挑战死亡的冲动”遥相呼应。

在其名著《假如给我三天光明》中,她描述了自己生命中的冒险旅程。

我滑落过好几次,跌倒,爬不上去,

撞着意想不到的障碍就发脾气,接着又制服自己的脾气,然后又向上跋涉。

每得到一点进步,便受到了一份鼓舞。

我的心越来越热切,奋勇攀登,渐渐看见了更为广阔的世界。

每次斗争都是一次胜利。

再加一把劲儿,我就能到达璀璨的云端、蓝天的深处——我希望的顶峰。

撞着意想不到的障碍就发脾气,接着又制服自己的脾气,

然后又向上跋涉。每得到一点进步,便受到了一份鼓舞。

正如图中所示,海伦•凯勒早期的笔记就是这样。

我们很难想象在能力有限的情况下,她是怎样努力去达到璀璨的云端、

蓝天的深处、她希望的顶峰以及生命的无限。

所以马克•吐温曾因她内心无限的力量而称颂她。

他说:“19世纪最伟大的两个人物,一是拿破仑,一是海伦•凯勒。

拿破仑试图用武力征服世界,但失败了。

海伦试着用心灵的力量征服世界——她成功了!

事实上,我们在自己身上可以感受到同样的心灵力量。

今年夏天,中国女排在奥运会上夺金感动了我们所有人。

中国队主教练郎平在赛后说:

“中国女排精神就是永不放弃。

我作为教练的责任是带领这支年轻的队伍把女排精神传承下去。

最令我印象深刻的是“有时候知道不会赢,也竭尽全力”。

这不正是对海伦•凯勒那句名言的最好解释吗?“生命或是一场大胆的冒险,或是一无是处。”

每一次冒险,我们都需要尽“洪荒之力”,

这意味着我们要不遗余力,正如中国游泳运动员傅园慧所言。

因为冒险意味着超越自我,这在汪国真的诗歌里早有体现。

跨越自己

我们可以欺骗别人 却无法欺骗自己

当我们走向枝繁叶茂的五月 青春就不再是一个谜

向上的路 总是坎坷又崎岖

要永远保持最初的浪漫 真是不容易

有人悲哀 有人欣喜

当我们跨越了一座高山 也就跨越了一个真实的自己

那么,现在我衷心祝愿你们开启美好的冒险之旅,超越自己!
