大家好!你们还记得单词“competition”吗?

我当时给了一个解释。

我说竞争的意思是

共同努力奋斗做最好的自己,而不是竞争。

我为什么要这么说呢?

在这一节你会找到答案,

那就是竞争精神。

一个名为《阿基拉和拼字大赛》的电影讲述了一个相似的故事:

一个女孩赢得了拼字大赛冠军。

这个名叫阿基拉的女孩是一个美籍非洲学生。

有一次她来到教练的家,

教练让她从墙上挂的一个相框里读一些句子。

她找回了勇气。

“走过去,读读墙上挂的摘抄。大声读。”

你可能会好奇是什么话充满了力量,激励了阿基拉。

听听看。

“我们最深的恐惧是我们很强大,力量无法估量。

我们问自己我是谁”

当她登上舞台比赛时,

她再次想起了这句话,有了勇气。

事实上这些话节选自一个伟人非常有名的演讲。

他就是南非前总统纳尔逊曼德拉,

诺贝尔和平奖得主。

这些话选自他在1994年就职典礼上做的演讲。

当时他首次当选总统。

我们最深的恐惧不是我们的不足。

我们最深的恐惧是我们的力量无可估量。

令我们深恐的不是我们周边黑暗而是我们自身的光明。

我们问自己:“我是谁,哪可能既聪明漂亮又有才华还很出名?

” 事实上,你不是这样又是谁呢?你是上帝之子啊。

我们生来就要彰显与生俱来的上帝的荣耀。

这份荣耀不是只有部分人才有,它存在于我们每个人。

我们自己放射光芒时,我们也无意识地允许他人也发出他们的光芒。

正因为我们从自己的恐惧中解放出来,我们的出现才自然而然解放了其他人。

我们都知道曼德拉曾经受到迫害,他说的是基督教的核心精神。

实际上这也是基督教世界关于竞争的精神。

你如何理解竞争精神?

希望你找到你的能量,继续做你自己,那个聪明,漂亮,有才华,令人难以置信的你。
