有很多出枝
we talked about the problem in branch drawing

我们选择两个作品

两张作品是同学们

存在的普遍问题
showed some common mistakes

这是用笔问题
in our daily practice and training

用笔的把控能力比较弱
it’s the problem of brush using

所以说出的线条质量不高
lack of control of your brush

这是出的线条还可以
that’s why the line turns out to be lack of quality

但是没有墨色的变化
the line in here is OK

这是两个问题
but still lack of ink change

同时还有一个最大的问题
it’s two different thing

就是我们这个短线的组织
simultaneously the biggest problem is

组织的比较缭乱
the organization of short line

这就是这个线条的排布问题
very messy

那么我们先来看看这个用笔
it’s the combination and organization

这个出枝的用笔
let’s take a look at brush work in here

这个是非常难的
in branch drawing

应该是在山水技法里头
it’s very difficult

是最难的一项
probably one the most difficult part in landscape drawing

因为它是短线
a tough one

短线出枝速度还很快
because when you try to draw the short lines

然后它这个组织还非常严密
you need move faster

每一笔这个都非常讲究
and the organization is tighter

它的力度
pay attention on each stroke

这是个很难的一个过程
the strength in it

那么出枝这个练功
it’s not a easy process

是一个使我们把控用笔
the ability of branch drawing

难度最高的一个层面
is one of the hardest level

如果我们这个出枝
in brush using territory

要能突破
if we can break through it

那么对笔墨的认识
this branch drawing level

对笔墨的把控能力
then we would move to another level

那就应该进到一个
of understanding of brush and ink

相当高的一个水平了
that would let us enter

我们讲出枝的基本要求
a higher lever of Chinese painting

起笔到收
We talk about the basic requirements of the branch drawing

起笔是稍粗 收要稍细
from start to finish

然后有长有短的再短的
start with thick stroke and end with slightly thinner one

就这些线条的控制力
then some longer lines and some shorter ones

我们能控制这样一个笔形
the ability of this line control

我们出枝这是第一要求
we can control our brush in such shape

这是顺锋
this is one request of brush using

我们还有逆着走
here is follow tip style

逆着走也得这样
there is also against the brush tip style

入笔细 到了这个位置要粗
in this way

所以说我们要
start from light, and get thicker in here

还得有速度 还得有质量
so it requires

这得需要练
both speed and quality

这是用笔的问题
it needs more practice

同时还得讲究用墨问题
this is brush using problem

我们画完一棵树
also pay attention about ink using

一点墨色的变化没有
when we finish tree drawing

像这位同学这样
like this one

这就失去了
it lack of ink change

这个短线组织的生机
then it’ll lost

就谈不上什么气韵
the sense of life

所以说我们还得讲究
lack of vividness

墨的变化
so we say

那么墨的变化
the ink changing

蘸墨是一个要领
is another important topic

我们不懂蘸墨
how to add ink

我们那个线始终是黑的
if you don’t understand it

或者始终是灰的
the ink appearance will always be dark

所以说我们的墨要有变化
or grey

现在是有变化
that’s why we need ink changes

然后画这个线条组织
once we have change

画 笔墨走到
then start to draw organization

一定程度的情况下
as we run the ink

那么这个线条就由重到淡
in certain circumstances

就开始了
from dark to light

这是逐渐的淡了
then it start to

谈到组织是一个比较难的

怎么组织为好呢
about organization

我们看我们这个线条
what kind of organization is ideal

分隔的空间如果都均等了

就失败了
if the separated spaces are equal

就是说明你在分枝的时候
It failed

没有疏密
It means that the branch you draw

然后这个长短都一样
lack of dense difference

你这个线条就缺少长短变化
the length here is the same

就没有疏密变化
the line you draw here lacks length changes

像这个方向都一样排列平行
no dense difference

这都属于在你分枝的时候
all placed in same direction

在组织上缺少
it’s the problem in branch organization

它那个纵横的变化
lack of change

疏密的变化 主次变化
lack of vertical and horizontal changes

粗细变化 缺少这个东西
the dense changes, primary and secondary relationship

这么一来一要求
these changes is very important in Chinese painting making

我们要求短线
with such aesthetic pursue

还得有这么样一个组织
it would be even more difficult for us

确实很难
since you need pay attention on both quality
and the organization at the same time

所以说这个一般画这个出枝
very hard to achieve that

我们要分两步走
normally when we draw branches

首先第一步
two steps

要训练你的用笔的能力
first

控笔能力很熟
train your ability of brush control

怎么入笔都行
get familiar with your brush

然后长枝短枝
then you can engage in whatever ways

能控制住这种笔形
then start to draw the long and short branches

然后墨色也有变化
control the shape of brush stroke

然后再解决它的组织
also let the ink shift between each other

那么它这个组织
then the organization

我们可以在很多的经典绘画
such organization

这个像唐寅的出枝
we can see in many classic art pieces

一些大的画家的出枝
like artist Tang Yin style

包括齐白石
many famous art master

还有那个沈周他们那个出枝
like artist Qi Baishi

可以学到一些组织的
and Shen Zhou

好的态势
we can learn a lot

那么好的态势
from their works

我们可以先临摹
how they deal with tendency

形成自己的审美定式
we can also study from drafts

然后自己内心里头
and find your own aesthetic formula

它有一个比较
in your mind

自己认可的一个成形的
it’s kind of

这么一个组织
a form that you recognize yourself

那么再加上我们的用笔
such organization

很快速的就能把这个
including our brush work

线条组织起来
we can organized it

那么这就是枝干的训练过程
quickly

那么我们有了一定的
in this process of our training

能够自己组织很好
when we have certain brush control ability

笔墨功夫也很好
then we capable to organized brush strokes

然后墨色变化也很好
strokes with quality

那么这个时候
the appearance and texture of ink is flexable

你再进行创作的时候
at this point

你有了这样一个
when you start to create your own art piece

高水平的一个控笔的能力
you already got such ability

那么你想表达
a very high level of art making ability

你内心丰富的心灵世界
then when you want to express

这个笔才能跟得上去
Your inner spiritual world

否则的话我们的用笔确实是
your technique will be able to catch up with your mind

心里想的
otherwise the technique we have

和自己所画出来的东西
won’t be able to match with

确实是两个样子
the image in our mind

因此我们要使毛笔
it’s won’t match

这个笔墨形式表达情感
thus when we need to be sure

表达的特别充分特别到位
the brush-ink art form

特别丰满特别准确
could express our emotion thoroughly

就得需要通过笔墨的练习
and accurate

才能实现这种表达
that’s why we need practice

我们的改画就到这儿
only in this way we can achieve such expression performance
