从心理学上的理解到科学研究再到哲学概念。

1. 5羟色胺转运体多态区基因是与快乐和生活满足感关联十分密切的基因。

2. 确切地说,正是这种长基因决定了与日俱增的快乐。

3. 一个人含有的5-HTTLPR长基因越多,这个人就可能更快乐。

那么,基因能解释我们所有的快乐和生活满足感吗?

加利福尼亚大学的一位心理学教授写了一本书叫做《快乐的途径》,

作者在书中指出长期的快乐大体上有三个主要原因:

遗传学、环境和有意活动。

他们确信的是遗传学并不完全控制你的快乐。

研究结果表明影响程度在33%到最大50%之间变化。

根据我的介绍,让我们来总结表达快乐和基因关联的方法。

如果我们把“基因”一词放在句首,

“be responsible for/correlate with/be associated with/code for”等短语可以连接“基因”与“幸福”,前者表原因,后者表结果。

我们还可以使用比较级来描述快乐与5-HTTLPR长基因数量的关联。

这一关联的另一个事实是遗传学并不完全控制你的快乐。
