我们现在介绍倪瓒

倪瓒是元代晚期的苏州画家

他的名望可以说

在艺术史上与黄公望是齐名的

关于倪瓒绘画的特点

董其昌有非常好的论述

董其昌说

盖倪迂书绝工致 晚年乃失之

而聚精于画

一变古法

以天真幽淡为宗

要亦所谓渐老渐熟者

若不从北苑筑基

不容易到耳

纵横习气

即黄子久未能断

幽淡两言

则赵吴兴犹逊迂翁

其胸次自别也

董其昌这段论述

有两点是我们要注意的

第一点他指出倪瓒绘画的源流

是以董源为开端的

这就是所谓

从北苑筑基“北苑”是指董其昌(注:董源)

第二点是我们

在欣赏倪瓒绘画的时候

要特别加以体会的

和黄公望一样 倪瓒一生

都是以书画为乐

他的绘画在当时有极大的名望

求画者无数

但是呢他对于那些

要来向他买画的人他一概拒绝

他只把他的画交给朋友

他自己在叙述他创作的旨趣的时候

有这么一段话 他说

余之竹 聊以写胸中逸气耳

岂复较其似与非

叶之繁与疏

枝之斜与直哉

或涂抹久之

它人视以为麻为芦

仆亦不能强辨为竹

真没奈览者何

倪瓒这段话告诉我们 他绘画的目的

并不是以形似

或者逼真为目标去描绘景物

而是借描绘景物自由地

表达他自己的精神 逸气

这个“逸气”实际上是和道家的

基本精神 就是我们

在前面多次讲到的

那种追求清新超旷之感相联系的

我们现在来介绍倪瓒的《六君子图》

这画作于1345年

当时倪瓒已经44岁

倪瓒在中晚年之后

他的生活非常的窘困

常常不得不靠朋友周济

而庐山甫就是

经常周济他的朋友之一

这幅画是送给卢山甫的

在画中倪瓒题词记录创作的经过说

卢山甫每见辄求作画

至正五年四月八日

泊舟弓河之上

而山甫篝灯出此纸

苦征画

时已惫甚

勉以应之

大痴老师见之必大笑也

倪瓒告诉我们他作这幅画

是应朋友卢山甫的要求

而且是在一座船上

当时他已经非常疲惫的时候

在朋友中当场作了这幅画

在场的有黄公望即大痴老师

而且在这幅画上

黄公望也题了一首诗

诗中说道

远望云山隔秋水

近看古木拥坡陁

居然相对六君子

正直特立无偏颇

这幅画被命名为《六君子图》

应当就是来自于黄公望的这一首诗

相对六君子 应当说就是指的在场

有六位朋友也许还包括倪瓒

倪瓒自我的技术和黄公望的题诗

表现了倪瓒所代表的

文人绘画的基本的创作状态

就是文人画不是为功利而作

不是为了销售

而是在朋友之间

亲切交往时的一个行为

以画会友在画中交往

这是文人画的基本特征

它与后来的绘画比如说

明代的唐寅他们所代表的

商业性的绘画是不同的

倪瓒的绘画不仅深刻地

表达了自我的人生感识

而且这种感识是在和朋友的

直接交流之中展开呼应的

而唐寅他们的作画

他是面向不知名的画商和买主的

所以情感是被抽象或虚拟性的

他没有倪瓒他们以画会友时的

那样一种亲切 真挚
