First of all look at some photos

These photos shown are some examples of graffiti

Which of the words/phrases in the following list

would you use to talk about graffiti

Please work in pairs and discuss

Yes maybe some of you see it as

eye-catching, stimulating and pleasing to the eye

Sometimes they can convey a profound message

for example

a call for environmental protection or world peace

But some people think graffiti is ugly

and spoils the appearance of buildings

In addition such drawings may not fit

the general design of the building

or the surrounding buildings

although they may look good by themselves
