随着人类文明的发展,有数不胜数的书籍出版、传播、继承。
哪一本是你的最爱呢?
你最喜欢的书单一定跟你的同学的书单不一样,是吗?
如果你问其他人,你会发现:
有的人喜欢能激起他们同情心的书,
有些人喜欢深思的书,
有的人对无可争辩的经典感兴趣;
有的人沉湎于神秘书籍,
有的人声称爱科幻;
有的说他们喜欢读人类历史,
有的人却选择知识类书籍,
有些喜欢表达人类情感的书。
不管大家喜欢的书是什么,我们大多数人不会只坚持看一类书。
我们喜欢各种各样不同的书来吸收不同的营养。
有的书实在太好了,我们忍不住一读完就想要分享。
不过,如果你有机会跟别人谈论一本书,最好还多考虑一点。
我发现人们在谈论自己的阅读体会时经常关注的是阅读时的感受,
或者他们的思考,却忘了先谈谈所读之书的基本信息。
当然了,你的感受和思考是最重要的部分。
但是,如果你想要使谈话有点学术,或者你读的书听起来能有种力量,
这些基本信息就不能省略。
比如,作者是谁?
是历史上一位有名的专家还是最佳魔幻小说作者?
是哪家出版社出版的?
兰登书屋,还是牛津出版社?
亦或是商务出版社?
这样的信息会先给你的听众一个印象:你读的什么样的书,
从而帮助他们做个判断。
如果你想谈论的书并非出自一家有名的出版社或者一个有名的作家之手,也不用担心。
试试这句话:尽管这本书出自这一领域中一个无名之辈,
也不是什么有名的出版社出版的,但是我对这本书的关注有三个理由。
你看,是不是你的听众会需要对你读的东西了解得更多了?
还有一个问题就是,很多大学生在介绍他们读过的汉语书时忘记说出这本书的英文名称。
现在很多中文书籍出版时也会有英语书名。
所以有必要记住你喜欢的中文书籍的英文书名。
这有助于你的听众对你要说的东西事先有个预测。
你也可以说说其他的信息,
比如,你在哪里得到的,
还是一本限量版的书,
还是你在一次特别事件(竞赛)中获得的奖励。
这类信息会让你要谈的这本书听起来与众不同,因此也很有趣。
如果你想谈谈你的情感,下面的表达会是你的选择:
……读起来令人心旷神怡/心潮澎拜/心生好奇
这篇文章或者这本书像磁铁一样吸引了我。
书的封面上的那幅画引起了我的注意。
故事/主人公一直在我心中回荡。
我对书中主人公的命运深感遗憾。
如果你想谈谈你对这本书的思考,下面的表述会很有帮助:
书中的数据、图表让我对……有了更多的了解。
书中作者对人们早就接受的观点提出了质疑。
如果你要谈谈你对所读材料的评价,你可以说,比如,
它提升了我原有的知识,
这本书有教育意义,
它激起了我对……的批判性地思考
它丰富了我的生活,
它提高了我的能力,
它改变了我一度对当时的生活的积极的/消极的/同情的态度,
它启蒙了我的思想,
它激励着我(做……)
或者我忘记了生活中的所有烦恼。
我有机会逃离充满压力的生活,
它发人深思,
它提高了我的阅读能力,
这本书令我受益终生,
我从书中获益,…….
