1.Prelude
The lavender trumpets bloom in April, adding slight colors to the wild path.
Ladies love Shengdi that can cool the blood, and gentlemen love Shudi that can tonify blood.
This poem is about Dihuang, who is one of our old friend and has left us happy memories of childhood.
2.The names of Dihuang and its culture
Beside the name Dihuang, it also has many names. Among them, the name "pith of the earth" and "emperor of the earth" are the two most famous ones.
As for the nourishing effect of Dihuang, the ancients have known it for a long time. For example, the book Baopuzi written by Ge Hong in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Su Dongpo in Song Dynasty, Bai Juyi's in the Tang Dynasty, a famous medical master of Li Shizhen in the Ming Dynasty all had highly commended Dihuang’s nourishing effect.
3.The authenticity of Dihuang
Ancient Huaiqing Prefecture, i.e. Jiaozuo City in Henan Province produces Dihuang with the best quality, which is one of the four famous Huai Medicines overseas.
Once Huai Dihuang leaves the fertile land of Huaiqing, the drug properties will be greatly reduced. This is the embodiment of the authenticity of the medicinal materials.
