At an early stage in your PhD process
maybe you often ask yourself these questions

should I wait until I have my first results from my studies
These doubts are absolutely normal
But the earlier you go to academic conferences
the better

it is important to have something presentable
Do not go if you are not clear in your mind

that's fine
