这次课我们分析影响固相反应的因素
由于固相反应过程涉及化学反应和物质输送等若干环节
影响化学反应和扩散的因素
例如反应物的化学组成
特性
温度 压力等等
均影响固相反应
首先我们分析反应物化学组成与结构的影响
反应物化学组成与结构是影响固相反应的内因
是决定反应方向和反应速率的重要因素
反应物的结构状
质点间的化学键性质
以及各种缺陷的多寡
都将对反应速率产生影响
在生产实践中
我们往往利用多晶转变
热分解和脱水反应等过程引起的晶格活化效应
来选择反应原料和设计反应工艺条件
以提高生产效率
例如
用氧化铝和氧化钴生成钴铝尖晶石时
采用轻烧Al2O3
而不是采用较高温度下死烧的Al2O3作原料
两者的反应速度可相差近十倍
这是因为轻烧Al2O3是由于存在晶型转变
物质在相转变温度附近质点可动性显著增大
晶格松解 结构内部缺陷增多
故而反应和扩散能力增加
所以
晶型转变大大提高了Al2O3的反应活性
接下来
我们分析反应物颗粒尺寸及分布的影响
反应物颗粒尺寸对反应速率的影响
我们在学习杨德尔方程
金斯特林格方程时
给大家讲过
反映速率常数K值是反比于颗粒半径平方
也就
其它条件固定不变
反应速率受到颗粒尺寸大小的影响
右图是不同颗粒尺寸
对CaCO3和MoO3在620℃反应速率的影响
可以看出 颗粒尺寸越小
反应速率常数K值越大
颗粒尺寸还改变了反应界面
扩散界面以及颗粒表面结构等
颗粒尺寸越小
比表面积越大
反应界面和扩散界面也相应增加
因此反应速率增大
键强分布曲线变平
弱键比例增加
故而使反应和扩散能力增强
需要强调的是同一反应体系
由于物料颗粒尺寸不同
其反应机理也可能会发生变化
从而属于不同动力学范围控制
例如
刚才说的CaCO3和MoO3反应
当CaCO3颗粒大于MoO3时
反应由扩散控制
若MoO3 颗粒尺寸>CaCO3颗粒尺寸
且CaCO3过量
则反应由MoO3的升华控制
我们再分析反应温度
压力与气氛对固相反应的影响
反应温度升高
质点热振动动能增大
反应能力和扩散能力均增强
有利于固相反应进行
无论是扩散控制的
还是化学反应控制的固相反应
温度的升高都能够提高扩散系数
或化学反应速率常数
并且由于扩散活化能Q小于化学反应活化能ΔGR
所以温度的变化
对化学反应影响远大于对扩散的影响
压力是影响固相反应的另一个外部因素
并不是压力大了
固相反应就加快
应分为两种情况
对于纯固相反应
压力增大可缩短颗粒之间距离
增加接触面积
从而提高反应速率
但是有液相 气相参与时
扩散过程并不是通过固相粒子直接接触进行的
因此提高压力并不一定能促进反应进行
气氛的影响
气氛可以通过改变固体吸附特性而影响表面反应活性
学习扩散一章
我们已经知道了气氛可以影响扩散
所以气氛就可以影响固相反应
矿化剂及其他影响因素
矿化剂就是在反应过程中
不与反应物或反应产物起化学反应
但它们以不同的方式和程度影响着反应的某些环节
(1)矿化剂可以与反应物形成固溶体
活化晶格
反应能力增加
(2)矿化剂还可以与反应物形成低共熔物
这样
体系在较低温度下出现液相
加速了扩散和对固相的溶解作用
(3)矿化剂还可以与反应物形成活性中间体而处于活化状态
(4)矿化剂离子对反应物的极化作用
(5)促使其晶格畸变和活化
例如 Na2CO3和Fe2O3反应体系中加入NaCl
可使反应转化率提高约0.5~0.6倍之多
当颗粒尺寸越大
这种矿化效果越明显
总的来说
矿化剂的机理复杂多样
但都是以某种方式参与到固相反应过程中去
