一、关于法线
模型的两面性
1、法线原理
在开始讲它们之前
我们先来看一下这张图片
这是同学们
在建模时常常会出现的问题
明明做的时候
模型看着好好的
渲染出来就不对了
为什么呢
这是因为
你的模型面片做反了
在3ds Max中
模型是有正反之分的
如果面片反掉了
渲染时就会出现问题
那么我们应该
如何来区分模型的正反面呢
这就需要法线的帮忙了
你需要为模型添加一个
编辑法线修改器
然后
你会看到模型长毛了
这些“毛”就是法线啦
法线
指的是定义面或顶点
指向方向的向量
一个平面存在无限个法向量
在图形学领域里
法线决定着
曲面和光源的浓淡处理
对于每个点光源位置
其亮度取决于
曲面法线的方向
在模型上有毛的那面是正面
没有毛的那边就是反面了
二、平滑组,让模型表面圆滑起来
常用法线正反面的
调节方法有两种
方法1
选择多边形物体的法线
通过统一法线命令
和反转法线命令进行调节
方法2
在多边形面和元素模式下
使用反转命令调整法线

1 平滑组原理
说完法线
我们再来看看下面一张图片
这也是在3ds Max中
常常会遇到
错误的模型显示问题
导致这个问题的原因呢
是模型的平滑组不正确
平滑组是为对象的曲面
或通道指定的数目
如果两个面或面片
共享一条边
并且共享同一个平滑组
它们将被渲染为平滑曲面
2 平滑组的调节
两个方法解决问题
那该如何调节呢
这里
为大家提供两种解决方法
方法一
在可编辑多边形中
进行手动调整
第一步
在面的层级
选择不需要平滑组的面
第二步
找到平滑组选项卡
为平滑组
给一个组号就可以了
想要全部平滑
选择所有面
给它们编一个组
如果想要一边平滑
一边不平滑
我们可以
将一边的面给一个组1
另一边给不同的一个组2
如果模型中
需要使用折线
可以用两组不同的编号
就这么简单
方法二
使用平滑修改器
让程序帮你搞定。
第一步
为模型添加平滑修改器
第二步
自动平滑没开启时
模型没有平滑组
当勾选自动平滑后
适当调节阈值
系统会根据模型面
在场景中的角度
自动计算平滑组
