我们一起来学习医学术语
We’re going to deal with systems
来看看系统
Learning medical terminology in systems
we’ll combine medical terminology
study with major study
which makes the study less boring
and less difficult
I’m going to demonstrate
one of the systems in detail
and you are to follow the way to understand
and grasp medical terms used in other systems
There are wow so many systems
We start from cardiovascular system
And for the others
it’s your turn to go through them
Cardiovascular system
you’ll see the word first cardiovascular
cardi means heart
vascul means blood vessel
blood vessel
And -ar是形容词的后缀
我们已经碰到过多次了
o在这里还是个combining vowel
Now look at this heart
We start from the left atrium
left atrium
这里有一个atri/o
atri/o是心房 left是左心房
接下来左心室
ventricul/o
ventricul/o这个是腔或者是室
left ventricle就是左心室
再往上
就是ascending aorta
well this is
ascend就是指向上攀爬
aort/o是指主动脉或者是大动脉
ascend 和descend
从这两个词
我们就可以看到scend大概
是可以表示上升或者是下降
接下来有一个是papillary muscle
这里papillary muscle
papill/o是指的乳头
-ary 形容词的后缀
我们也是要多次碰到的
接下来这个词比较奇怪的是purkinje fibers
这个是一个人的姓氏
一个捷克科学家的一个姓氏
Fiber 这里是fibr/o 纤维
这是一个常用的词根
接下去是会到了chordae tendineae
这里主要是有两个都是 ae结尾的
这个是一个名词复数的一个形式
tendineae是指腱
这个chordae是弦或者是索
它相当于cord
这里要注意是某些a结尾的
名词的一个复数形式
接下来看well this place
sinoatrial node窦房结
这个sinus是窦 表示下陷
或者陷下去的地方在这里
那么atri/o是心房
心房在这里碰到的atrium
atri/o 这里有另外一个构成形式
node是结节
之下就一个atri/o 再次碰到
atrioventricular node房室
是一个房加ventricul/o
是室 形成了一个结这里
第几次碰到了
-ar是形容词的后缀
接下来是atrioventricular bundle
bundle是捆 一束一束的
这样子 过来
那么还有其他的词
就请大家接下去

这个是动脉的一个词根

前面有碰到过的
接下去是left subclavian artery
Subclavian sub- 在什么之下
Clavicle
clavis是表示锁
and then 到下面颈这里
left common carotid artery
左颈总动脉
carotid是颈动脉
然后
再来brachiocephalic artery
表示头臂动脉
这里一个
we have brachi/o
胳膊 手臂
and cephal/o是头
这里是胳膊
这里加头再加一个artery
表示头臂动脉
and then we have aortic valve主动脉瓣
aortic主动脉的
还有像mitral (bicuspid) valve
mitral valve
bicuspid valve僧帽来自
mitral是指
不是中国的和尚带的那个僧帽
是指西方主教的法冠
它那个看上去像僧帽一样
所以来的这样的一个词
and bi-是指二
and inter-在什么之间
interventricular septum
interventricular septum
是在这个室之间所形成的这种隔
septum是表示隔膜
this is endocardium
end/o-是在什么里 内
在什么内部
cardi/o是心脏 那么这是心内的
endocardium指的心内膜
So
