我们已经注意到,长直载流导线是一个很常见的例子。
让我们回顾一下由长直载流导线产生的磁场特点。如图所示,由于对称性,磁场线是一组以导线为轴的同心圆。
圆面与直导线垂直。半径相同的圆上各点的磁场大小相等。各点的磁场方向沿切向。
从这幅图,我们也可看出磁场线是闭合的。无头无尾。
这一点与电场线完全不同。电场线起始于正电荷,终止于负电荷。
这里我们在长直导线附近放置一些小磁针,通过小磁针的排列展示磁场线。
如图所示,假如导线中没有电流,所有磁针指向同一个方向。
当导线通入恒定电流,所有的小磁针发生偏转,每一个小磁针指向都沿磁针所在位置的圆周的切线方向。
这正是电流产生的磁场方向,与上图采用右手定则确定的磁场方向一致。
当导线中的电流反向,小磁针北极的指向跟着反向。这些现象演示了直导线磁场的场线特点。
现在我们将半径为r的磁场线分割为无限多个线元ds,圆周上各点的ds的方向就是各点沿圆周的切线方向,大小为长度ds.
我们可以确定B点乘线元ds的结果。
然后,对B与圆周上所有的电流元的叉乘结果进行积分。我们注意到ds平行于圆周上各点处的磁场。
因此,B点乘ds等于Bds. 并且,圆周上各点的B大小都相等,可以提到积分号外。
因此,Bds沿闭合路径的积分等于B乘以ds的线积分,其中,ds的线积分正好等于半径为r的圆周的周长2πr。
这个例子中,大家注意到,我们选择的闭合积分路径正好是沿着磁场线。那如果积分回路是任意形状的闭合曲线,情况又如何呢?
请看这幅图。我们选择一个任意形状的闭合曲线。我们采用上述的步骤来计算磁感强度B沿此闭合曲线的线积分。
同样,我们把闭合曲线分割为无限多个线元ds. 此时,线元矢量ds与该点处的B之间的夹角为θ。 因此,B点乘ds等于Bdscosθ.
dscosθ等于dr, dr 为ds在切线方向上的投影。
从图中所示的几何关系可以得到,dr 等于 r dφ。消去r, 然后把所有常数提到积分号外。
dφ 沿闭合曲线的线积分等于2π.由此,我们得到B沿任意闭合路径的线积分与上述结果完全一致。
这个结果表明B沿任一闭合路径的线积分与I成正比,这里的I为闭合路径所围的电流。
我们也可以说,B沿任一闭合路径的线积分等于μ0乘以I,这里的I是穿过以该闭合路径为边界的任意面的恒定电流的代数和。
这就是安培环路定理。闭合路径称为安培环。
这里,我们有几点思考。首先,如何理解任意面?以一个闭合曲线为边界的面实际上是无数个,对吗?
因此,闭合曲线所包围的电流必然会穿过以闭合曲线为边界的任意面。
第二,这里的电流I是指闭合回路所围的所有电流的代数和。
我们知道电流有方向,这就意味着方程式中的这一项是带符号的。那么如何确定孰正孰负呢?
请用右手定则。当我们的右手四指沿着积分的绕行方向弯曲,与大拇指的指向方向相同的电流取正号,反之,取负号。
比如,这里,我们有三段电流,I1,I2和I3. I1没有被包围在闭合曲线内,I2 向上,I3向下。
我们积分路径的绕行方向为逆时针,因此根据右手定则, I2取正号,I3取负号。
应用安培环路定理,我们写出如下的表达式。
现在我们自然想到了静电场的高斯定理。磁场中的安培环路定理类比于静电场中的高斯定理。
为了应用安培定理求解问题,系统必须具有某种对称性。
例如,对于无限长直导线,磁场具有轴对称性,故安培环路定理可以应用于求解磁场。
然而对有限长直导线,我们就必须采用比萨定律来求解。
下一讲,我们将举例说明如何应用安培环路定理求解对称电流分布的磁场。
