在实际应用中
我们其实很少会用到
这样的结构
那么接下来
我们对条带分割算法的改进
也确实是更多的
基于此前刚刚讲过的
partially persistent structure
而言的
也就是说
我们要从某个角度出发
将所有的那些slab
视作为同一个数据结构
在不同的历史时期
所留下的一系列的快照
从而将它们变成一个持久化的整体
为什么可以看作是一个快照系列呢
我们应该回忆起
此前所说过的扫描线算法
我们的扫描线算法
确实会按照时间的先后
首先生成出一个slab
所对应的关联搜索树
再去处理并且生成下一个slab
所对应的树
以及下一个 下一个 下一个
所有的这些树
这些树在这个算法中
是按时间顺序生成的
而且我们刚才也讲过
它们相邻的两者之间
每一对都有一定的相关性
这样的一个时间次序
确实就暗示我们
完全可以将所有的这些slab
按照从左到右的次序
视作为同一棵树
只不过这样的同一棵搜索树
在不同的时刻
分别留下了对应的那个版本的
一个快照
当然
如果仅仅只是这样一个视角的变换
还不足以解决问题
不要忘了
我们最终的目的是
将所有这些累计规模为O(n^2)的树
从空间上降下来
