在Voronoi图中
除了以Voronoi vertex为中心的那种
极大的空圆之外
还有很多空圆
具体来说
也就是沿着Voronoi图的
每一条边界
在它上面的每一个点
都存在这么样一个极大的空圆
这种空圆
同时经过恰好两个site
或者说以它们为最近邻
在这里呢
我们依然是对应的
也就是说
在一个Delaunay triangulation中
任何的一条边
比如说它
之所以会被Delaunay三角剖分采用
我们也可以从这个意义上讲认为是
存在一个圆它是空的
而且这个圆恰好经过
这条边的两个端点
或者再形象简洁来说
这条边之所以会是一条
Delaunay三角剖分中的边
是因为存在一个极大的空圆
而这个极大的空圆
以它为一条弦
我想如果你回到Voronoi图的话
这个性质也非常好理解
比如就刚才的F和G
为什么在它们之间
在Delaunay三角剖分中
会存在那么样一条边呢
按照刚才对偶的原理
是因为F和G之间
存在这么一条公共的边界
而既然它是一条公共的边界
这是Voronoi图中的一条edge
所以必然会在这个edge上
存在一个点的
实际上任何一个点都可以
以这个点为中心
以到F和G的距离为半径
对应的这个圆是空的
那么这个圆是哪个圆呢
其实不折不扣的就是这个圆
圆还是那个圆
只不过它的背景悄然之间
从Voronoi图
更换为了对偶的Delaunay triangulation
原来这个空圆
是经过两个site
这里我们更形象的解释为
这个空圆
是以这两个site
所确定的那条线段作为一条弦
好 记住这个性质
再概括一下
在Delaunay三角剖分中
每一条边之所以会成为一条边
不仅是因为它来自于对偶
而且更重要的是因为
本质上讲存在一个空圆
以它为弦
这是它的充分条件
利用这个性质
我们可以得到很多进一步的结论
